Air-Powered Hybrid Cars Coming
Jokes about “being full of hot air” aside, a pnuematic hybrid car is very close to production. While it’s not going to be seen in the USA (at least not right away) PSA – that’s Puegeot Citroen – has officially begun developing a car that will be partially powered by compressed air.
The compressed air car is a pipe dream, but a compressed air HYBRID is very feasible. So feasible that PSA is getting ready to build them.

Chrysler, the perennial bottom feeder on quality awards and reports, is planning on embarking on an Ad campaign highlighting their quality. Apparently, they think they can compete directly with Toyota’s known reputation for quality. Seriously.
Reports say that Chrysler’s new Ad campaign will highlight their quality while attacking Toyota’s reputation. Really.

Toyota Recalls 2001-03 Tundra Pickups Over Faulty Front Passenger Airbag
Toyota is recalling certain 2001-03 Tundra pickups due to faulty front passenger airbags. These airbags were manufactured improperly by an outside supplier.
A third-party supplier of airbags is being blamed for the recall on 2001-2003 Toyota Tundra pickups.
