Savvy enthusiasts are of course aware that Blinker Fluid is a figment of an imaginative – or crooked – mechanic’s imagination, and that no one in their right mind would purchase a canister of Elbow Grease or a set of Salad Shooting Spinning Rims. For most of the general public, however, these products not only sound plausible but absolutely necessary, especially if their in-the-know car buddy tells them that their car is definitely in need of a new Muffler Bearing or a 710 Cap.

Toyota Warranties Air Injection Pump System – Reimbursement Available

In response to reports of air induction pump assemblies and/or air injection switching valves issues on their 2007-2010 Tundra and 2008-2010 Sequoia models, Toyota has decided to increase its warranty on these parts and is even offering a reimbursement if you already had this issue fixed. This is a great relief for owners since it was an such an expensive fix as we reported in April, 2010, Tundra and Sequoia $4000 Air Injection System Problem.

Toyota Releases Prius PLUS Performance Package, Rest of the World Asks “Why?”

NOTE: The Prius PLUS package has been out a while now, but this post was forgotten about until just recently. Hopefully you enjoy it even though it’s not as timely as it should be.

The Toyota Prius hybrid has never been synonymous with the word “performance,” unless you are talking about how well the compact hatchback does at the fuel pump. In a seeming effort to get some of that sports car adrenaline flowing amongst those shopping for the Prius, Toyota has announced the availability of the Prius PLUS Performance Package, which can be ordered on any version of the 2011 model.
