There are plenty of second generation Toyota Tundra show trucks out there, but what about the 2014 models? Here is one that lives up to the beastly look the Toyota designers were going for. It is a 2014 Toyota Tundra SEMA show truck and it has lots of modifications plus a few unique items.
The truck, owned by Benjamin Pulido, has already been a hit with truck fans. It even graced the cover of the April edition of Dub Magazine. And it is already the veteran of many auto shows and events.
One of the first things that stands out to us are the roof rack and grille. Both are done by All Wired Custom Grills and are part of their Gravel Empire product line.
We got a chance to do ask Pulido some questions.
What were your thoughts when you saw the new body style of the 2014?
What I like the most of the new Tundra is the interior. Looks more luxurious that the 07-13 model.
Did you get excited to do a build on it?
Yes I was knowing that I was one of the first ones to have one in my hands and modifying was the best thing ever.
What mod do you like the best?
To me the best mod is my suspension because it rides like stock.
What mod was the hardest and why?One of the hardest mods where modify my Bushwacker flares to fit with my Fab Fours bumper which I had to cut, paste and do body work to give them a factory look.
Here is a complete list of modifications:
- 12″ Bulletproof suspension
- Bulletproof coilovers & shocks
- 40×15.50r22 Nitto Mud Grappler Tires
- 22 x 12 TIS monster energy edition wheels
- Fab Fours Front and Rear Bumper
- 2 50″ Rigid Industries LED Bars
- Gravel Empire Roof Rack
- Gravel Empire Grille
- K&N Intake
- Doug Thorley headers
- Metal Mulisha Exhaust by Gibson Performance
- Alea Leather Seats with Ultra Suede Inserts
- Ultra Suede Headliner
- AMP Research Power Steps
- HID Head and Fog Lamps
- Hypertech Gauge Calibrator
- Kicker Sound System
- ARE Tonneau Cover
- Bed rug
- Bolt Lock
- Custom Painted Headlights
- Smoked Taillights
- Odyssey Battery
- Bushwacker Pocket Fender Flares
What do you think? Are the 2014 show trucks just as nice as the 2013s?
