Toyota Announces 2017 Mirai Pricing
The 2017 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle MSRP remains $57,500 plus an $865 destination fee. To recognize Mirai drivers leading the way, qualified customers will be eligible for the Mirai trailblazer support program. The trailblazer program enhances the purchase and ownership experience with the following choices:
- Trailblazer Lease: $349 per month for 36 months, $2,499 due at signing* with 12,000/year mileage allowance
- Trailblazer APR Support: 0% for 60 months or 1.9% for 72 months
- Trailblazer Purchase Support of $7,500

Toyota Develops a New DNA Analysis Technology to Dramatically Accelerate Improvements in Agricultural Production
Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) has developed a new deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) analysis technology called Genotyping by Random Amplicon Sequencing (GRAS) using analytical materials that have been provided by the Kyushu Okinawa Agricultural Research Center (KARC) of the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO). This technology is capable of dramatically improving the efficiency of identifying and selecting useful genetic information for agricultural plant improvement. This newly developed technology should lead to substantial time and cost savings in the agricultural plant improvement process.

Review: 2016 Lexus RX 450h – Smooth, Refined Luxury SUV
The more I drive luxury vehicles, specifically SUVs, like the 2016 Lexus RX 450h, the more I am convinced there is no other luxury SUV on the market which combines a smooth powertrain and a refined luxury interior so well. Lexus 350 RX and 450h SUVs, for me, are just at another level.
The new exterior is much sharper and styled than previous models.

A common topic of discussion among Toyota Tundra and Tacoma fans is the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX) plant. Specifically fans want to know how the trucks get built, what the product mix is and how much capacity the plant truly has. Recently, Toyota flew me down to San Antonio, Texas to learn all of that and more.
A recent tour of the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas plant really showed how well the Tundra and Tacoma are built.

Toyota Invests In Expanding Tacoma Production In Mexico
Toyota has recently announced its plans to invest $150 million at their Tijuana, Mexico facility to expand production of their top mid-size truck, the Toyota Tacoma. This investment should relieve some of the capacity strain.
Toyota is planning on investing $150 million into its Tijuana, Mexico facility in hopes of meeting the demand for its trucks.
