Reader’s Supercharged Rides

In honor of the new TRD supercharger for the Toyota Tundra, we decided to post some pictures of some supercharged Tundras on TundraNetwork.com.

First up, it’s Jason’s hard-loaded 08 Tundra. It’s got everything. TRD sway bar, cold air intake, and tube steps, a truck covers USA roll-up bed cover, rain guards, under-seat tool box, and all weather mats. I especially like the engine cover painted to match the TRD cold air intake. Very cool.

Next, we’ve got Robert’s supercharged 07′ that was just added to TundraNetwork a few days ago. Clean truck, nice rims, and about 500hp. What’s not to love?

Mike B’s 08′ Crew has a Pro-Comp 6″ lift, some serious wheels and tires, an aFe air intake, and a Magnaflow exhaust. It’s very clean – not too loud, but definitely not vanilla. A nice truck.

Thanks a lot to Jason, Robert, and Mike B. for joining TundraNetwork.com – and congratulations on having some killer rides!

Featured Tundra – Bill’s Red Rig

Bill sent us an email telling us about his 08′ Tundra CrewMax X-SP 5.7L V8 , and when he told us about all the equipment, we had to have some pictures. In addition to his regular driving, Bill uses his truck for light-offroading in order to get to the best kayaking places. We like it because it’s a sharp ride, and a testament to just how nice you can make your truck without breaking the bank.

Bill's red Tundra crew looks great.

Notice how level this truck is? It’s got a ToyTec 3″ front-end lift 1″ rear-end lift with a differential drop kit.

Adding a carbon fiber dash kit is a great way to customize your truck without spending a fortune.

Featured Tundra – K&N’s Custom CrewMax

K&N, famous for making top quality air filters and air intake systems, decided to trick out a Toyota Tundra for SEMA. In addition to adding their Series 77 air intake for the 5.7L V8, they made a few other enhancements:

What’s cooler than a custom 12″ lift on an 07′ Tundra Doublecab with the big motor?

Toyota Tundra with a custom 12

WOW. Awesome.

Probably a few things – but we can’t think of any right now. We’re too busy thinking about how cool it would be to cruise this truck. It’s a 2wd with a custom built 12″ front end lift, 10″ rear lift that took 54 days to create! The custom work includes Fox 10″ x 2-1/2″ coil over shocks with Fox 14.0 remote reservoirs, 18″ x 3″ Eibach 700lb Coils, Atlas 2008 Toyota Tundra 8″ over stock rear leaf springs on 2″ lift blocks, a modified drive shaft, 30″ front rebound limit straps, Motorsport tech adaptors 5×150-6×5.5, Total Chaos 07+ Upper “A” arms, and a really sweet looking logo for the shop that built it – Custom Motorsports in Riverside, California.

The Sarge Is In Charge

NOTE: Since we’ve asked people to submit their vehicles for consideration of being a TundraHeadquarters.com Featured Vehicle, we’ve been inundated with requests. We’ve got a few to post, and we’re going in order of when we were contacted. Without further adieu, here’s our next featured Tundra.

Tundra Crew with Westin Bull Bar

Sgt. Morris’s kick-ass CrewMax.

The list of equipment on this vehicle makes it special enough, but we want to take a minute to say thank you to Sgt. Morris and every other U.S. service man and woman. Your sacrifices enable us all to enjoy political and economic freedom many people in world can only dream about. Thank you.

Back to business now. Starting with the exterior, the sergeant’s truck has nerf bars and a bull bar by Westin, a Dee Zee low pro black metal toolbox, a Line-X liner, an AVS hood deflector, and a ReadyLift leveling kit. The chrome offsets nicely with the Pyrite paint – it’s a good look.
