New 2013 Ram to Offer V-6, 8-Speed Transmission
In a sign of the times, Chrysler filed voluntary report that indicates the new 2013 Dodge Ram will offer a Pentastar V-6 and eight-speed transmission to be more fuel-efficient.
Chrysler recently filed a report stating that the new 2013 Ram will offer a V-6 engine with a eight-speed transmission.
Toyota Responds to “Grossly Inaccurate” CNN Report
On Thursday, March 1, 2012 CNN ran a report that accused Toyota of covering up a 2006 memo that CNN says reveals that the Japanese Automaker’s engineers knew about the “unintended acceleration” in their vehicles including the Tundra. Toyota responded quickly about these allegations calling the report “Grossly Inaccurate.”

Toyota Gives Kids Against Hunger a Free Tundra
In yet another example of Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program, the Kids Against Hunger of Northwest Oklahoma charity received a Toyota Tundra double cab, 4×4 pickup. They had been borrowing vehicles.

City, County of Toyota Truck Plant Don’t Own Toyota Trucks
In the d’oh moment of the week category, we have the city of San Antonio,Texas and Bexar County, Texas who have hundreds of full-size trucks in their fleet, but none of them are Toyotas. Why is this odd? This area is home to Toyota Tundra and Tacoma production plant.
The San Antonio, Texas Toyota Manufacturing Plant is a large driver in the local economy employing about 2,300 people. Seems from this picture, the plant is a large piece of the economy.
