This week’s featured truck is all about color matching. It is black, black and more black color on this “Project Big Black” Tundra. And we think it is sweet, sweet and more sweet. Take a look!
The really cool part of this Project Big Black 2008 Toyota Tundra DC standard bed base model 4×4 truck is that it is an ongoing project. You can follow along on its Facebook page to see the progression in this project. A pretty cool way to interact with the owner and see the decision making process.

- Limited 20″ wheels w/ colormatch center cap emblems
- Colormatched grille, door handles, tailgate handle, mirrors
- Jason Cap with LED’s
- Hella LED 3rd brake light
- Halogen headlight bulbs
- Blacked out headlight corners
- Orange LED DRL bulbs
- LED Reverse and brake bulbs
- Blacked out tail lights
- N-Fab cab length textured finish bars
- Line-x spray on bedliner
- Polk Audio DXi690 6×9 speakers
- JL Audio power amp
- Scosche HD 6ga. wiring

agree with Mickey, BHLM is needed for the front to give it a nicer look.
I think I’m goin with a “black chrome” look on them instead of a regular BHLM. I truly appreciate the the compliments though it means a lot. The truck has came such a long way since I first purchased it.

Very nice looking. I like that front bumper a lot. Off course I would tuck a winch in to that hideaway compartment.
I have to see how you make out on your Tundra. I have the 4.88’s and like them a lot. Are you going to the Auburn LSD?
