Pickup Made From Ice – You Can Drive It Too

Have you heard about the pickup made of ice? It has gotten a lot of attention lately because it is really cool (and we mean cool) and you can actually drive it. Check it out.
Billed as the world’s first self-propelled ice sculpture ever, the truck uses around 11,000 pounds of ice. The ice is chiseled and placed around a truck chassis complete with engine and electrical systems. Adding to the coolness of the truck, the builders filmed the whole thing and drove it 1.6 kilometers at about 20 km/h on December 12, 2013.
Sadly, the truck has since melted.

OOh,
sad news for me , i could not drive it!!!!
Sooo …. It went 1.6 km (about a mile) and melted down.
That puts it in about the same class as Dodge transmissions and Ecoboast engines.
ROFL!
