Introducing PickupTruckTalk.com

Tundraheadquarters fans and readers, Tim here. I have a pretty big announcement. As many of you know, I’ve grown as an automotive journalist and now get vehicles from a wide variety of manufactures as well as publishing to multiple outlets. This combined with a desire to expand my skills, as well as some knucklehead journalist calling trucks “uncivilized” on a prominent podcast, have driven me to finally do something I’ve been thinking about for years. I’m very pleased to announce the launch of PickupTruckTalk.com!!!
This site will house all my work including posts on Tundraheadquarters.com and Tacomahq.com. I still plan to work on both of these sites and all stories will be posted on them FIRST. I’ll then republish them on Pickup Truck Talk. Thank YOU readers for your support over the years as I have grown into the journalist I am today.

Congratulations on your new project. I went to the site started the podcast. Sounds good.
Thanks Don! I have no idea where this is going, but I’m excited to see it through. I just submitted the podcast to iTunes and should hear back soon.

I’m glad to see that you’re moving on from Toyota centric articles, especially since Toyota is not giving you, or Jason for that matter, much to write about when it comes to Toyota’s 1/2 ton trucks. This site has the best info on the Tundra; I learned a lot from your articles and Jason’s too.
One thing I’ve noticed with this site, the former PUTC and the growing in popularity of TFLTruck is each found a niche.
THQ has informative articles for 2nd gen–3rd gen too since little changed–Tundra owners (mods, TSBs etc.).
The former PUTC had worthy testing and comment filtering to keep the dialog clean.
TFLTruck has the Ike Gauntlet runs.
One thing common to the three is the niche was driven by passion–I had that once for the Tundra…
Combine both and you’ll do well 🙂
Good luck and All the best…
Thanks! To be clear, I’m not leaving this site. Just growing. 🙂
