Ram Is Becoming A Stand-alone Brand
Chrysler – which is now managed by Fiat – is going to spin off the Dodge Ram as a stand-alone product line. The full plans for the new Ram brand are being given to the U.S. government today, and The rumor is that the Ram brand will make it easier for Fiat to manage the marketing of the Chrysler brands. Here’s what the new Chrysler landscape is supposed to look like:

There are a number of reasons why people choose to install leveling kits on their Tundras. Sometimes, the desired effect is aesthetic – some owners prefer a truck that’s horizontally flat rather than a truck with a slight forward rake (which the Tundra comes with out of the box). Biggest Floor Mat Recall Ever
Toyota has announced that they intend to recall 3.8 million driver’s side floor mats just as soon as they come up with a replacement for the existing mats. In the meantime, owners of the affected vehicles are advised to remove their driver’s side mats. The reason? The accelerator can get stuck under the mat and the driver may not be able to slow the vehicle, potentially resulting in an accident.
This recall announcement is due in large part to a tragic accident that happened last month. There’s a very accurate news story about the accident that’s worth a look (see the YouTube clip after the break).
