If Pickup Trucks Were Beautiful Women They Would Be…

Because it’s fun to come up with ways to include pictures of beautiful women into articles about pickups, let’s talk about what trucks would look like if they were beautiful women popular in American culture. The order is based on domestic content, with the truck with the most domestic content going first.

Biller Liar, Pants On Fire

UPDATE: Biller’s racketeering allegations against Toyota have been dismissed by the arbitrator overseeing the case. What’s more, Biller has been ordered to pay Toyota more $2.5 million in damages for his lies.

Dimitrious Biller (that’s pronounced “by-ler”, hence the headline) is a lawyer and former Toyota employee who filed a racketeering lawsuit against Toyota last August. In that suit, Biller alleged that Toyota systematically hid information in civil lawsuits in order to save money. While it’s certainly possible, we’ve found more evidence that shows Biller is most likely a liar.

End of The Line for the Honda Ridgeline

UPDATE: We got it wrong.

Filed under the heading “NO kidding” (sarcasm), it’s being rumored that the not-really-a-truck-but-sort-of-looks-like-a-truck Honda Ridgeline will be discontinued in 2012. PickupTrucks.com editor Mike Levine spoke with a Honda exec who said that he could neither confirm or deny that the Ridgeline will be flushed in 2012.

More Dirt On Toyota – Another NHTSA Fine Likely

Toyota’s reputation for quality, reliability, and resale value might not be tarnished, but their image as safety conscious, consumer-oriented, and well-managed company continues to fade. Here’s the latest on “Recallmagedeon”, a.k.a. “pedal gate,” a situation where the cover-up is worse than the problem itself.

Forbes Says Ford F250, Chevy Colorado Worst Trucks

Compiling data from Consumer Reports and JD Power, Forbes has announced their Worst Made Cars list for 2010. Shockingly, Ford’s F250 and the Chevy/GMC Colorado-Canyon made the list:

  • Cadillac Escalade
  • Chevrolet Aveo
  • Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon
  • Dodge Nitro
  • Ford F-250
  • Jeep Wrangler

While the Forbes article certainly makes some good points, it seems a little flawed (and perhaps a little harsh).
