Tim,
There is always an interest, no matter what vehicle it is. The more info and knowledge people have about the different trucks, the better decision makers they can be on whether it is the right truck for them.
Since you recently spent time with the 2016 Tacoma, I am interested in how it compares after you a few days with the Colorado.
Yes a comparison to the Tacoma would be nice, but there really is no comparison. The Tacoma will last a very long time the mildly updated S-10 will not.
Fun fact: my first brand new truck was an S-10. Bought it off the lot. This isn’t an S-10 anymore. Trust me, I know. 😉

@Randy: Mildly updated S-10? You’re either a troll or you didn’t do your research. The GM has about 30 more hp and about the same torque as the new dual fuel injected and Atkinson cycle Tacoma. And the fuel mileage between the two is the same. I’d say the Toyota came up short on the mileage and hp for the new Tacoma. Granted, it’s not all about hp and torque, but the GM has way more options and allows one to configure the way they want. What’s interesting about my last fact is Toyota is the “best” manufacturer in the world. Go figure…
One more thing: don’t start cheering about reliability either. I’ve have a colleague who is still waiting for a frame; it’s been five months and he does not know when he will be back in his Tacoma.
I’d like to hear what Tim has to say about the GM.
Will chin spoiler clear the curb?
Looks like a toyota tundra wow gm sure can design their own vehicles.
Looks like a Toyota Tundra? Not even close my friend, not even close.
