When Toyota unveiled the beefier 2014 Toyota Tundra, they said consumers didn’t think it was brawny enough. Apparently, the consumers didn’t see this truck. This is one seriously brawny-looking and cool Tundra.
This 2007 Toyota Tundra 4.7L V8 4X4 Double Cab Long Bed is Chris Cochran’s truck and can be found it the big sky country of Missoula, Montana. With the open terrain and the modifications, we are going to go out on a limb and say Chris has just a little bit of fun!
All the work done on the truck was completed either solely by Chris or with assistance from friends when a second pair of hands are required.

Is that a long bed? If so why waste all that money?
That’s a bit harsh. What’s wrong with modding a long bed?

What great irony…The truck is in Montana, and he’s hauling a surfboard on the rack. (I presume he heads to the west coast to surf.?)
Had a similar thought yet I like the truck a lot so I don’t care what he does. Ha!

It’s like truck nuts on a Prius. 😉
LOL.
He may have a good reason for the board. It could be type of board you use on lakes and rivers that you stand up and ride it.
I’ll check the Facebook page and get to the bottom of this mystery. 🙂

Nothing on Facebook. I’ll send him a message and see if he will weigh in.

I was just trying to be funny.:) I tend be over-observant of stuff like that.
FWIW…I used to drive a Nissan Xterra, and I had a large ‘Red Neck’ decal across the rear window, surrounded by some hunting/fishing decals. Someone pointed out the irony of that in a different forum. (Although, IMHO, being a ‘red neck’ extends beyond the bounds of what vehicle one drives.)
Hi all! I would like to say that I do not like the term “waste” HA! It’s for me and not anyone else. I haul dirt, rock and anything else I want. Which leads me to answer the questions regarding the board. It is a stand up paddle board or better known as a SUP. We here in Montana and the Pacific Northwest to take SUP’ng one step further and surf whitewater rivers. Here is a taste…

I would like to thank Tundraheadquarters for the support!
Where can I buy these racks??
You have a problem with long beds? Haters! It’s says in the article its an SUP (stand up paddleboard)
It’s a paddle board.. Used on any body of water for a good workout.
Dummies..
Dez,
LOL! I was close to coming to that conclusion.

My be some kind of west-coast granola thing. I’ve never seen one in my neck of the woods.
Lol. Granola thing? Watch the video posted above. It’s been around for ages, mostly the Pacific Islands, but picking up pace in the world and here in the whitewater scene.
Try it and you might like it. 😉
I’ll take a pass, thank you. Next, you’ll want me to go out and get a Segway!
Ooook then. Not sure what that means, but to each their own, I suppose.
Truck does look sharp no matter how long the bed is. Like Dez stated it’s a paddleboard. I could use that on a daily basis since I keep getting myself put on a creek in a canoe without a paddle. Actually for me it’s a piroque vice canoe since I was raised in the bayou’s east of New Orleans.
Thank you!
