A little expensive unless like stated if you do alot of offraoding. I still have the cheap walmart one I got that runs off the cigarette lighter. It fits right behind the CM rear seat even when the track is all the way back. Saved several people that had flat tires only to find that there spare/donut was low also.
Mickey – I hear you. I think it’s great if you use a compressor constantly, but otherwise, I’ll spend $50 on a cheap compressor and $150 on gas. 🙂
This product the VIAIR 400P portable compressor is perfect for inflating up to 35-inch diameter tires and other inflatable items. Its 2.54 CFM (33% duty cycle) compressor provides up to 150 psi capable of inflating even high pressure rated truck tires.
Agreed with you Mike T!!
Having used plenty of inexpensive air compressors, I felt it was time to buy a quality unit. After much research including off road shops and other off roaders I purchased the VIAIR400.Works extremely well on my 32″ tires and feels solid. I have not had a long time with it, but I feel it is a rugged piece. Pricey, but easy to rationalize.
