The Ultimate Motocross Accessory

The next time you go to a motocross race, check the parking lot for this truck:
If you see it, than Dan is probably racing nearby. It’s a 2007 Tundra Crew with a long list of extras:
Suspension: The 6″ Pro-Comp Stage II lift kit is the real deal – arguably the best 6″ lift on the market. Matched up with upgraded MX6 adjustable rear shocks and a big set of wheels. There’s also a Pro-Comp skid plate underneath.
Wheels and Tires: 20″ moto metal rims fit this truck nicely – blacked-out rims are becoming very popular, and for good reason – they look great. Sitting on a set of 37″ x 12.5″ Super Swamper tires, this truck can definitely handle the mud.
Extras: Technically, this truck is a motocross accessory – Dan uses it to facilitate his racing career by hauling his bike to and from the track. In order to make that trip as comfortable as possible (some of the races can be pretty far away), Dan’s added an after-market 7″ Nav system with DVD and iPhone compatibility, and a color rear camera that makes parking much easier.
Obviously, Dan’s the kind of guy that likes to go fast. Since this Tundra has the 5.7, fast isn’t a problem. The Flowmaster exhaust is a nice add-on – a little bit more power combined with a very nice sound.
Dan – thanks for sending us your pics – be sure to catch some air for TundraHQ!

Very nice truck Dan. Wish you luck on the bike.
I’d need to catch some air to get up in the beast. Nice job!
Just a quick question. I have the same truck with a 6 inch fabtech lift on it. Im in the process of wearing out my 33×12.50 20r so I can put bigger tires on it.Did you do any other mods to get 37 to fit. I was told the biggest I could go is 35’s. I would like to put the biggest tires on it without any rubbing. What do you recomend?
I did nothing else to raise the height besides the lift and the 37″ tires, they fit perfect with no rub.I will be sending a new picture to Tundra HQ next week since I have done more work to the truck in the last week.
Hey bro, nice truck!
I was wondering if you know your wheels’ offset.
I really want to put 37″ tires over my 35″s but my offset might cause it to rub.
…also the size of your wheels 20x..? Thanks
sorry not really sure on the offset but the dish on the rim is not very deep and they are moto metal rims. The shop that I always buy my rims from took care of that but I can tell you on my last truck they told me it needed to be a plus 12 or greater for the clearance of turning,if you call pro comp they use the tundra for there RD and they have helped me out alot with my truck,it may be help to you also? I have called shops in the past who install suspension lifts and ask about the rim offsets to put on the different trucks I have had in the past since they are doing it and testing them out on a daily basis..
