What We Are Driving – 2014 Lexus IS 250

We have a question for our audience. While we write a bunch about trucks, we are starting to get a variety of other vehicles for other blogs that we write. Does the audience on THQ want to see other vehicle reviews written from a “truck” guy perspective? For example, Tim just had a Prius V. Do you guys and gals want to know about how a truck guy perceives it or are you not interested at all?
BTW, we just got this 2014 Lexus IS 250 delivered. We love trucks, but wow, this thing is drool worthy.

They needed to give you that in the summer, not the winter with snow and ice, LOL..
Right! I’m hoping the snow and ice melts in a few days, I want to go up in the mountains!
At times I wish the snow in your picture was all I had to deal with. 4 feet in the 3 days then -5 every morning after the storms cleared out. Having a 23 percent grade 60 foot drive way, we run Subarus to get us in and out in winter. The trucks I have had don’t make half have way up the driveway before all 4 wheels start spinning and I slide back down.
I wonder how an AWD Lexus would do since the newer Subarus aren’t what they used to be but, I would hate to feed a nice Lexus to the the road salt. When it’s snowing in May I sometimes wonder why I don’t move south.
Larry,
I’d be wondering the same thing. If I had my choice, I would live in the heat year round. The cold and snow drags me down.
We had a big melt yesterday and will hopefully have a bigger melt today!

What state do you live in?
just curious, looks midwest like me
it was -3 last night, BARF
LOL! Colorado. We are just coming out of weather pattern where an artic front has kept temps around 10 degrees. It is supposed to hit the 50s throughout the week and I am hoping the snow and ice will melt some.

Lets hear how the Lexus make out in the snow. Enjoy reading the articles on THQ and a little verity would be nice. Thanks and keep them coming.
Rick,
You got it! Sneak peak: I haven’t been on here much, been pretty busy spinning tires. 🙂

Tim I would think at least once a month maybe twice you should do a review on another type vehicle. It does show us variety. I would prefer you start with Toyota type vehicles like Lexus and scion and even Toyota vehicles. It gives us an advantage on a new perspective of looking for a vehicle for the wife or other spouse etc.
Mickey,
Your viewpoint is what I have been hearing. I’m working on a Prius review and the Lexus review will also be done. Frankly, I only really have access to Toyota vehicles right now, but I am working on other brands.
