Toyota has brought a dynamic duo of Toyota Tundras to this year’s SEMA that for more than meets the eye. The two monster truck Tundras pay respect to the off-road lifestyle while also paying homage to two worthy causes that make our everyday lives easier.
The first out of the duo is the Hiring Our Heroes Monster Truck, a beefy tribute to the veterans of America, initially visualized by Medal of Honor recipient Sergeant Dakota Meyer of the United States Marine Core. Thanks to builder Steve Zion and the mechanics at Toyota of Wallingford, the 2014 Toyota Tundra Double Cab SR5-turned monster truck is rated for over 500 horsepower and features a plentiful portion of modification outside of the engine bay.

The second out of the pair is the Tonka Tundra, a tribute that calls attention to America’s emergency responders who risk their lives for the greater good. Fitted with an appropriate yellow, red, and black livery, LED light bars, and dedicated “Emergency Rescue” logos, the Tonka Tundra does a stand-up job of making its presence known.
